A recommended red wine made from 100% Croatian indigenous grape variety "Plavac Mali".
Plavac Mali is a cross between Zinfandel (Primitivo), known for California wine, and Dobricic, a local Croatian grape variety.
(Source: ISHS (International Society for Horticultural Science))
The cute donkey picture on the label was drawn because the vineyards are on steep slopes and carts cannot enter them, so donkeys were used to carry the grapes.
