Vranac is an ancient autochthonous Montenegrin grape variety. "13. Jul - Plantaže," a state-owned winery boasting one of the largest single vineyards in Europe, they produce this red wine with viticultural and national pride.
On the nose, it reveals pronounced aromas of small berry fruits, blackberry, and blueberry, with discreet dried spices.
On the palate, it is fruit-driven, with a dominant blackberry aroma, balanced acidity, and a moderate tannic structure. The finish is intense, with a fruit-and-spice character.
Aged for up to 2 years in stainless steel tanks.
Serve at 18–20°C.
