Named after the ancient Carthaginian agronomist Mago, this is one of Tunisia’s most representative red wines.

Crafted from grapes grown under the warm Mediterranean climate, it offers a rich aroma of ripe dark fruits. Its sun-filled, generous fruitiness is complemented by a spicy yet approachable character.

A bottle that lets you experience history and terroir, while remaining easy to enjoy at the everyday table.

Please note: The bottle design has been renewed.

What is Tunisia’s AOC system?

Due to its historical background as a French protectorate until 1956, Tunisia’s winemaking traditions have been strongly influenced by France.

Today, Tunisia has adopted an appellation system modeled after the French AOC system. Standards for production areas, grape varieties, yields, and more are clearly defined, with quality control overseen by the National Wine Office of Tunisia.
