material:
Broad beans 1 can 400g
4 cloves of garlic
Juice of 1.5 lemons
Salt and pepper to taste
Italian parsley, chopped
Olive oil (as needed)
- Put the broad beans, along with the water from the can, into a pot and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Combine the garlic, lemon juice, salt and pepper in a saucepan and simmer for 1-2 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and add the parsley.
- Serve warm on a plate and drizzle with a little good olive oil.
- Serve on the table with some delicious bread!
