METOX Metoh

A very drinkable cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon, Vranac and Merlot, pronouncedly fruity with soft tannins and clear varietal aromas and flavors such as violets, blackberries, blueberries, fresh plums. 

The term "Metoh" comes from the Greek word "Μετόχι" and means "part", "common good", and “the monastery property”.

Pair it with pasta dishes accompanied by tomato-based sauces, and particularly with pancetta or mushrooms. Grilled chicken, veal, pork or lamb especially with Mediterranean grilled veg such as peppers, zucchini and aubergines, pair amazingly well with Metoh.

Tvrdos Monastery of the Serbian Orthodox Church in southeastern Herzegovina has been producing wine since the 15th century.
This historic monastery wine is made using grape growing and brewing techniques passed down from generation to generation by monks.
