Its bright, clear ruby color ranges from a slightly darker red. Its aromas are rich with red fruits such as raspberry, strawberry, and cherry. It also offers complex nuances of fresh herbs, damp earth, and subtle spices (pepper and licorice).

The palate is supple and fresh, featuring the silky tannins and lively acidity typical of Pinot Noir. It has a rich flavor and an elegant, lingering finish with fruit and mineral notes.

It pairs exceptionally well with roast duck, mushroom dishes, poultry dishes, and cheeses.

Founded by Louis and Catherine Poitout, this relatively new wine producer is based in the Chablis region of Burgundy, France. Owning a rare plot of franc-de-pied (own-root) vines, they produce highly distinctive white wines made primarily from 100% Chardonnay while respecting the Chablis terroir.
